This is an additional work experience day that takes place on your middle Saturday. A fascinating opportunity for all students interested in medical careers- the chance to spend the day in the dissection room in Central London. 

This course is only available to students aged 16 years or older.

The Course Contents:

• The day will begin with students divided into small groups, rotating around the dissecting room. At each station, a technician will be present to guide you through the exploration of real cadavers. Students will have the opportunity to learn about anatomical structures while also hearing the individual stories of the people who have donated their bodies to science.
• Students will examine wet brain specimens up close. This hands-on experience will allow you to observe neurological structures in detail and gain a deeper understanding of brain anatomy.
• Practical sessions in the dissection room. These will provide an exciting and unique opportunity to examine preserved human brain specimens and cadavers.
• To conclude the day, a technician will deliver an engaging presentation on the brain. This final session will bring together the day’s learning and provide an opportunity for students to ask questions and reflect on their discoveries.You will be supported by a team of experienced anatomy demonstrators.
