Sunday 12th May 2024

Join our suturing masterclass on Sunday 12th May 2024 where you will learn how surgeons effectively manage and assess acute wounds with suture closure. You will be sent our suture kit in the mail before the course starts so you can suture along with the doctors, learning first hand the various techniques needed to be a surgeon.

Suturing a wound is an essential skill that every doctor needs to be competent in. Surgeons suture on a regular basis, but other doctors also need to be confident stitching up lacerations in emergency settings and be able to suture central lines and chest drains in place. Our suture like a surgeon course is for all students interested in careers in medicine to provide some unique work experience for your applications to med school.

Join our doctors live with other students from all over the world as we’ll discuss with you the suturing techniques and with your suture kit, practice alongside the doctors as they provide some great practical work experience all from the comfort of your own home.

A certificate will be sent to you upon completion of the course, verified for 5 hours of medical work experience.

Medical work experience is invaluable if you’re looking to apply to medicine and this afternoon will be your first step to experiencing some of the practical aspects of the job.
