This exclusive course is designed to give you some stand out medical work experience which can be used in your applications and interviews to med school.

This interactive day is delivered by practising surgeons & current medical students and is designed to give students aged between 14-18 a meaningful insight into careers in medicine and surgery.

Students join a patient on their journey from initial presentation to diagnosis and treatment. The doctors will guide you through how they would conduct a surgical consultation, interpret signs and manage patients.

By the end of this day, you will have experienced a healthcare setting from the perspective of a patient and a surgeon.

We will finish this day with a next steps plan guiding you on how to focus your efforts on your medical school application over the coming months and you will receive a work experience certificate for your completion of the course.

The course begins at 10am and finishes at 3pm GMT & is available to watch for 60 days afterwards if you can’t make it on the day.
